Introduction

Once again, welcome to the exciting world of Java programming. You might be coming form a place where I have talked about the worth of Java, and you were directed here; that is why I am welcoming you. You should find peace here. The story does not end there: you should find excitement here, too. Ultimately you will gain knowledge. I am happy for you.

Java is a computer language. Java is a very developed language. A computer language is what you use to write a program to do the marvelous things you see at the computer and tablet screens. Java is very efficient to achieve such goals.

The main requirement you need to complete this course is computer literacy. That is you should be computer literate (be able to use the computer). The little mathematics needed will be taught to you as you go along. However, you need to be serious. Below is the syllabus. The items that may not be there now, will be added soon.

After Learning Java, what next? Well, a few people will want to be writing programs for their own personal use. A few more will want to be writing programs, applications or packages, and sell.

I have a job proposal for you. After completing the professional course in Java, you need to study something else (another course) again. You can learn for example, database, networking, website design, web development or gaming. The links to some of these items are given below.

After learning something else, and if you have understood most of the principles in both courses (Java professional and the other course), you would be able to work in your specialty.

The Citizen

In a democratic republic, anybody of the nation is called a citizen. In the world today, some republics are not really democratic. Also, some nations are kingdoms and the people of such a nation are officially known as subjects. Well, I will just refer to anybody in any nation in the world as a citizen, for simplicity. According to the UNO, anybody in a nation has the right to work. In practice, those who are employed in a nation, are seen as better citizens than those who are unemployed. If I have made you a proud citizen from my recommendations above, I would be consoled.
